Some festivals are grandly celebrated. Raksha Bandhan, on the other hand, is celebrated quietly; it is not just about tying a thread on the wrist, but talking and laughing about all those childhood memories, secrets, and the lifelong promises
Why not skip the store-bought sweets and instead make all those at home with the personal touch of love? Shreeji Foods believes food made with love becomes a memory in itself.
Here are three classic recipes made with premium Shreeji dry fruits that you can prepare this Rakhi. Whether it’s a thoughtful gift or part of the festive feast, each dish adds flavour to the moment, and says “I made this for you.”
Anjeer Dry Fruit Barfi
Anjeer Barfi is a timeless treat, a sweet which will make you remember your childhood days when grandma used to make the sweets for you, with the natural sweetness of figs and crunch of roasted almonds.
Ingredients:
- Dried figs by Shreeji, soaked in warm water for 1 hour
- Almonds (roughly chopped)
- Cashews (roughly chopped)
- Pistachios
- Shudh Cow Ghee by Shreeji
- Powdered Cardamom
Method:
- Blend the soaked figs into a coarse paste.
- Roast the nuts lightly in a teaspoon of ghee. Keep aside.
- In the same pan, cook the fig paste on low flame for 4–5 minutes.
- Mix the nuts and cardamom powder.
- Until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides, keep stirring.
- In an evenly greased tray, spread the mixture, smooth the top, and sprinkle slivered pistachios.
- Cut into the preferred shape once it cools.
Why it’s perfect for Rakhi:
It travels well, has no added sugar, and can be stored for days — a great sweet to send to a sibling living away.

4. Add powdered cardamom.
5. Turn off the flame after 5 minutes.
6. Garnish with slivered Pistachios while serving.
3. Dark Chocolate with Dry Fruits
Sometimes, all you want is to surprise your siblings with a little surprise. Making rich, luxurious chocolates that too in 15 minutes. Think of them as your handmade gift.
